Helping Herts Team - The Great Big Walk for Herts
On 24 Sept we are walking a section of the Hertfordshire Way to raise money for our 12 partner charities. Our section will be Hare Street to Royston and the distance is 12.6 miles.
My story
Helping Herts is a campaign set up to raise money for Hertfordshire charities. It encourages a cause-driven approach to fundraising and aims to get the community involved to both celebrate Hertfordshire and raise money at the same time. We showcase what is on our doorstep and want people to explore Herts.
We challenge others in the community to get involved in the campaign and walk for Herts. It is a great way to explore a new part of the county and raise money at the same time.
The partner charities for 2022 all have specific projects they will be sending the money raised on and it will benefit children and young people across Herts in a significant way.
Any donation small or large will make a difference.
