Helping Herts is a county-wide campaign raising money for a wide range of Hertfordshire-based charities. In 2022 our theme is child welfare and we are supporting 12 charities. The money raised will make a real difference to the lives of children across Hertfordshire and we would love your support.

Background

Helping Herts is the official charity of Story Valley Rotary Club. We are supporting a wide range of charities across the county that help children. 

Your support for the campaign will benefit all 12 charities to help them to provide improved services to local children

Explore Hertfordshire and Walk for Herts. Pick a new route and go off on an adventure to discover the countryside that Herts has to offer.

Setting Up a Fundraising Page

1.           Head to the Helping Herts Fundraising Hub.

 

2.           Click 'set up a fundraising page'.

 

3.           Follow the login prompt - use single sign on or create an account.

 

4.           Once logged in, you'll land on your personal dashboard.

 

5.           Click 'individual campaign'.

 

6.           Personalise the page (NB. The title will form your page URL so be sure to give your page a title you're happy with)

 

7.           Once happy with how your page is looking, click 'Publish'.

 

8.           You will be reverted back to the 'campaigns' tab of your dashboard.

 

9.           Switch back to your 'Dashboard' tab, where a new button will have appeared called 'Join a Team'. Click It.

 

10.         You'll be presented with a list of the Team pages available to join.

  • Step 1 - Select the Team you want to join from the list
  • Step 2 - Select the individual page you want to connect to the team (some fundraisers may have more than one page in their account)
  • Step 3 - Click 'Request'
  • A notification will be sent to the owner of the Team Page, prompting them to log in to their own account and approve your request to join the team.
  • Once they've accepted the request your individual page will be connected to the Team page.
  • You will now see a hyperlink to the Team page on your individual page, under your name.
  • On the Team Page, your individual page will feature in the drop down section 'Other campaigns connected with this Team'

If you have created an individual page already, but not yet joined a Team, follow these steps:

1.           Head to the Helping Herts Fundraising Hub

 

2.           Click 'Sign In'

 

3.           You'll land on your personal dashboard. If you have an individual page not yet linked to a team you will have a new button called 'Join a Team'. Click It.

 

4.           You'll be presented with a list of the Team pages available to join.

  • Step 1 - Select the Team you want to join from the list
  • Step 2 - Select the individual page you want to connect to the team (some fundraisers may have more than one page in their account)
  • Step 3 - Click 'Request'
  • A notification will be sent to the owner of the Team Page, prompting them to log in to their own account and approve your request to join the team.
  • Once they've accepted the request your individual page will be connected to the Team page.
  • You will now see a hyperlink to the Team page on your individual page, under your name.
