The Great Big Walk for Herts in support of Playskill

Families are provided with support from physiotherapist, occupational therapist and speech and language therapist in weekly group sessions. Parents get support and training and have the benefit from meeting families in similar situations. This is a free service to families who may be on long waiting lists with the NHS and receiving little support from elsewhere. A child does not need to have a diagnosis before they are seen by Playskill which can be a barrier to many other organisations. 

They have a parent support team who help families with all aspects of living with a child with additional needs such as school applications and benefit advice.

They also continue to provide support and advice for families once they have left and moved on to school and provide activities and events for siblings.
