We are taking part in the Great Big Walk for Herts on September 24th. I will be walking for team NSPCC from Kings Langley to Shenley which is a 12.3 mile walk.

My story
The NSPCC is the UK's leading children’s charity. They’ve been looking out for children for over 130 years – and couldn’t do it without you.
Everything they do protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, to transform society for every childhood. That is why they're here and that's what drives all of their work. But this is only possible with your support.
They provide services across England to help give children and young people the support they need to thrive.
They work with children, families and professionals. They support parents and families in caring for their children and provide therapeutic assistance to help children move on from abuse.
They also provide help and support through the NSPCC helpline, Childline and our work with schools.
Last year the Childline service handled 200,000 counselling sessions from children who felt they had no-one else to turn to. The NSPCC estimate that around 3,900 of these sessions were with children from Hertfordshire. It costs just £4 to answer one call to Childline so you could really help make a difference to children in Hertfordshire and across the UK.
